Ade as Well as Jide COMES vs. COME

During Open Day, an English teacher named Mr. Fafore is sacked because a parent, Mr. Guta, complained about a perceived grammatical error. The MD agreed with the parent that the sentence "Ade as well as Jide comes early" was wrong.

However, Mr. Bepo defends the teacher, proving that "comes" is grammatically correct in that context. The MD, although deflated, eventually re-employs Mr. Fafore.
